The aim of the course is to provide students with a sound knowledge of the following topics:
1) pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the main classes of drugs;
2) adverse drug reactions and drug-drug interactions;
3) principles of drug action at the cellular, subcellular and molecular levels;
4) principles of clinical and preclinical pharmacology.
