Use of excel software: formatting of worksheets and use of functions for representation and data analysis. Tables and Graphics. Graphics of linear, quadratic, cubics, trigonometrics, exponential, logarithmic functions. Logarithmic plot. Numerical integral. Graphic methods for the solution of optical problems: Fermat principle (reflection and refraction), planar and spherical mirrors, thin lenses, wave sum, spatial and temporal representation of the waves.

Practical experiences in laboratory by using a PC, each team is composed by 1 student. 12 Practica Exercises In the case of an extension of the health emergency from COVID-19, al the provisions governing the methods of carrying out the teaching activities and students' evaluation will be implemented. In particular, the following methods are applied: lessons through web seminar using the TEAMS platform.

Introduction to Excel
Main functions for performing calculations with spreadsheets. The Cartesian plane. Lines and elementary functions (polynomials, exponentials). Linear and logarithmic scales. Graphical construction of images produced by a lens and mirrors.
